Every effort has been made to accurately represent our products and services and their possible potential. Therapy is hard work and an individual's therapeutic outcome depends on the client's desire, dedication, effort and motivation. A couple's outcome is also determined by both individual's willingness and desire to be in the relationship. There is no guarantee of predetermined outcome as a result of engagement in therapeutic services. Major contraindications for certain therapeutic interventions exist and would be assessed on an individual basis. In the event an Arise practitioner or clinician determines one or more contraindications is present, they will be obligated to conduct a professional consultation, follow best practice protocol, and make an appropriate referral if indicated.
Now and then we find that a client may attend sessions reluctantly or determine therapy is not for them. Sometimes clients learn things about their situation and decide they would prefer not to proceed with therapy. In such cases, clients get little to no favorable results from their sessions. Many factors will be important in determining your actual results and no guarantees are made that you will achieve desired results.

From time to time, we may suggest products and/or services to you. These recommendations are always based on a belief that the product and it's author will provide excellent and valuable information or service based on a review of that product, our relationship with that person, and or previous positive experience with the person or company/agency whose product or service we are recommending. Arise Counseling & Healing Arts and affiliated therapists and staff do not offer or accept kickbacks, rebates, bonuses, or other remuneration for referrals. Arise Counseling & Healing Arts and its affiliated practitioners are dedicated to advancing the well-being of individuals, couples and families. Arise respects the rights of those persons seeking assistance and makes reasonable efforts to ensure that our services are used appropriately.
Confidentiality & Special Concerns
Information disclosed in session is confidential and may not be disclosed to anyone without written permission from you, the client. However, law requires the following exceptions to client confidentiality: Where there is suspicion or evidence of child or elder abuse, Where there is reasonable suspicion that the client presents imminent danger to self or others, and court order. If you choose to file insurance claims and you request a statement to do so, your statement and therapeutic notes will contain diagnosis. This information becomes part of the client record and your medical record in perpetuity. Confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in groups. In working with couples and families, free flow of information is imperative, consequently your therapist is advised not to hold secrets and will always endeavor to facilitate difficult conversations between parties and do so within legal and ethical guidelines. Your therapist will work with you to help you achieve your goals, yet Arise Counseling & Healing Arts and your therapist cannot make any outcome guarantees. Wherever children are involved, we will always assume both partners love their children and want the best for them. It is the policy of Arise Counseling & Healing Arts to adhere to legal and ethical guidelines consistent with licensing and, absent suspicion of child endangerment, Arise Counseling & Healing Arts and its affiliated therapists do not/will not side with or testify on behalf or against either parent.

Cancellation, Re-Schedule, Refund Policy
Arise Counseling & Healing Arts and its affiliated therapists and support staff are diligent about setting appointments that are convenient to the client and in alignment with best professional practice. When an appointment is scheduled, that time is reserved for the client. Arise Counseling & Healing Arts requires 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of standard weekly sessions. If you choose for any reason not to attend said sessions or choose to reschedule an appointment without providing 24 hours advance notice, a cancellation fee up yo your full service fee will be charged.

Arise Counseling & Healing Arts reserves the right to change or update this disclaimer notice, or any other of our policies or practices, at any time without notice. Any changes or updates will be effective immediately upon posting to this website.
